According to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, over 74% of adult addicts have reported beginning drug and alcohol use before the age of 18. What if we could change the trajectory of our children’s lives? Imagine we were able to identify, intervene, treat and support adolescents early in their substance use. This workshop will focus on providing developmentally appropriate supports to adolescents and transition-aged youth in various parts of the community. Through affiliation, institutional, emotional and informational supports, we can create a continuum of care and impact our next generation in a truly positive and effective way.
