National Survivors of Suicide Day 2010
On Saturday, November 20, 2010, simultaneous events for survivors of suicide loss will take place throughout the U.S. and internationally. This unique network of healing events helps survivors connect with others who have survived the tragedy of suicide loss, and express and understand the powerful emotions they experience.
The Association will hold National Survivors of Suicide Day at Wesley Long Community Hospital from 12:30pm - 2:30pm.
This event is free and open to the public.
The Association also sponsors Aftermath, a support group for those who have lost a loved one to suicide. The group meets the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month at 6:30pm in the Providence Room at Centenary United Methodist Church.
