The Anger Management course helps participants to develop new skills to manage their anger response. It combines relaxation, reasoning, and communication skills that present participants with options drawing on these different interventions, and encourages them to develop individualized anger control plans using as many of the techniques as possible. Not all the participants use all the techniques and interventions presented, but all should finish the course with more than one technique or intervention on their anger control plans. The more techniques and interventions an individual has on his or her anger control plan, the better equipped he or she will be to manage anger in response to anger provoking events.
