Wellness Academy to Start Again June 1st!

Mental Health Greensboro will re-open our office June 1st! We will offer in person Wellness Academy classes and in person Peer Support sessions in June. Our Support Groups will continue to be held online via ZOOM only at this time.

MHG is taking precautionary measures to reduce the chance of COVID-19 exposure. Class size is limited to 7 peers in order to provide enough space for social distancing; registration for class is required. Masks will be required to be worn by staff and peers in order to attend Wellness Academy and Peer Support sessions. Temperatures will be taken by forehead thermometer at the door and anyone with a fever will not be allowed to attend class. We received a donation of a limited number of face masks and we are able to provide our peers with a re-usable mask if needed. Hand sanitizer stations have been placed throughout our office to encourage good hygiene. We understand there may be anxiety about returning “to the real world” and MHG has taken the utmost caution to assure risk of exposure to COVID-19 is minimal.

MHG is offering six days of Wellness Academy classes, Monday thru Saturday, including two classes that have not been offered in a while! Again, registration is required to attend these classes in our office, and you may register for each class by clicking the links below and filling out your information at the bottom of the class description page. See the schedule below:

We look forward to serving our community face to face again and are excited to offer help and hope in this continued time of uncertainty. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out to us by calling 336-373-1402 or emailing us at info@mhag.org.
