Hurricane Closing

As a precautionary measure to hazards posed by Hurricane Florence, MHAG will be closed Friday 9/14 and Saturday 9/15, with all services to be canceled or rescheduled. This includes all classes, support groups and peer support appointments. Thursday night Road to Recovery Support Group will meet as scheduled. We hope all of our friends and peers take extra care to stay safe this weekend until the storm passes.

Shea’s Chase 2017 is almost here!

The Mental Health Association in Greensboro (MHAG) is fortunate to be the sole beneficiary of the Shea's Chase 5k Run/Walk again this year. This event is meant to raise awareness for suicide prevention and mental health issues. 100% of the proceeds will go to supporting current programs and expanding MHAG services. Mental Health Resource Fair

Event Date: Saturday, May 13th, 10am - 2pm.  MHAG will be participating in the Mental Health Resource Fair on May 13, put on by Greensboro Human Relations Commission and sponsored by the Social and Emotional Learning (S.E.L) Group. The fair will be held at Glenwood Recreation Center at 2010 Coliseum Blvd., and will feature guest speakers Dr. Nekeshia Hammond of Hammond Psychology and Keith Funderburk of the S.E.L. Group.
