Mental Health Greensboro is partnering with the Greensboro Public Library and GROW to bring, “Diving into Diagnosis,” a series of free workshops that each highlight a specific mental health challenge, it’s symptoms, how it can affect your or your loved ones, and treatment.

Mood disorders (Bipolar, Depression) can be described as a category of mental health conditions that affect a person’s persistent emotional state, or their mood (NIMH), and are the third most common cause of hospitalization in the U.S. for both youth and adults aged 18–44 (Department of Health & Human Services). For this workshop, we’ll dive into the signs that someone may be suffering from a mood disorder, potential causes, and treatment options.
