ALL PROVIDER ACADEMY WORKSHOPS FOR 2021 WILL BE HELD ONLINE VIA THE ZOOM APP.
Adolescence is a crucial period of growth, both for the mind and for developing and maintaining social and emotional habits that lend to a healthy mental state. Multiple factors determine mental health outcomes. The more risk factors adolescents are exposed to, the greater the potential impact on their mental health. An estimated 10–20% of adolescents globally experience mental health conditions, yet these remain underdiagnosed and undertreated (Adolescent mental health, WHO). In this workshop, we’ll delve into the most common challenges adolescents face in treatment and the importance of early intervention.
