This session will include a brief history of MBSR, an introduction to Mindfulness and a couple of experiential activities. The MBSR program was founded in 1979 by Jon Kabat-Zinn from the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. The program has been attended by more than 25.000 people all over the world. Several studies have demonstrated the benefits of mindfulness for people with many psychological and physical ailments
