Every 12 minutes, someone in America dies from an opioid overdose. The misuse of and addiction to opioids—including prescription pain relievers, heroin, and synthetic opioids such as fentanyl—is a serious national and local crisis that affects public health as well as social and economic welfare. This workshop will provide an overview of how this crisis is affecting the community as well as highlight current prevention and treatment efforts to address the crisis. Join this engaging discussion and learn how we can #ENDOVERDOSE.
