Provider Academy Moves Online for Remainder of Year

Due to COVID-19 social distancing recommendations, Mental Health Greensboro's popular Provider Academy workshop series will be held online via ZOOM for the remainder of the year in order to allow for maximum participation while minimizing the risk of exposure to the virus. Support Groups To Continue To Meet Online after MHG Office Opens

During the COVID-19 quarantine, Mental Health Greensboro's online support group community has blossomed. We have received a great deal of positive feedback about the online support groups and will continue to have those support groups meet online via ZOOM only for now. We will, of course, resume in person support groups when the time is right and the threat of exposure to COVID is lessened. Online Peer Support Groups via ZOOM!

We are happy to announce that beginning Tuesday, April 14th, our Peer Support Groups go live and digital via the video conference app ZOOM. Since the Coronavirus quarantine makes us unable to meet with peers in person, seeing and speaking with familiar (and new!) faces over digital devices is the next best way to meet. Mental Health Greensboro Closed for Precautionary Measures in Response To Coronavirus Until Further Notice.

Mental Health Greensboro will be closed until further notice as a precautionary measure in response to the Coronavirus outbreak in North Carolina. At this time we are adhering to Governor Roy Cooper's school closure mandate and as a result our facility will be closed at least two weeks beginning March 16th, 2020. Youth in Distress!

Adolescents in today's world are facing mounting mental health and societal issues that are different from those of their parents. To address these issues Mental Health Greensboro will host Youth in Distress, an adolescent mental health symposium on November 16th from 1-5pm in classrooms 5 & 6 of the Women's Hospital Education Center.
